How could you go your whole life in skyrim without seeing an undead? I can’t go five feet without finding a necromancer experimenting or some sort of crypt full of draugr.
Mercenaries in the second era: Zombies? Pfft. Easy. Bloodfiends? Bring it on! A lich? I love a challenge!
Mercs in Skyrim: did that dead body just wiggle it’s toes? Nah I’m out of here. Forget the contract.

There have been zombies in each game since Arena, I can’t imagine how the residents of Tamriel WOULDN’T be used to animated corpses.
It’d be more rare if the bodies were NOT walking about in skyrim
Honestly if mercenaries get scared by a couple of draugr they gotta think long and hard about a serious career change
I mean tbf it’s also just way more normal to see dead bodies in medieval times too, to the point where it actually would be pretty weird if you’d just never seen one. There’s all sorts of things that can kill you in medieval times even aside from dragons and stuff lol

It always baffled me that noone had ever looted nordic tombs or dwemer ruins before us. Like, reaaly? Noone was caple of doing so? No jarl though about taking its riches? No king though about striping the dwemer ruins off its metal, with is SUPERIOR to steel?
Ngl I tried to save her by paralysis before the end but she has a heart attack and dies regardless 😂
