This isn’t really hidden that well, glover and delvins shared last name was one of my first observations about raven rock many years ago

You don’t even need to do the quest to get through the basement door. Just run or Whirlwind Sprint at the door while holding a plate.

You *could* grind out 40+ quests to become guildmaster… OR you could just read a book that sometimes uses *actual* freemason code

Glover Mallory is actually the father of Sapphire… You can find a letter somewhere in his house. If you deliver the letter to Sapphire she will give you Exquisite sapphire, which worths 5000 gold. I kept it, haven’t sold it.

As an extremely loyal member of the Thieves Guild this fact was nothing more than child’s play to me. If you join the Thieves Guild and you don’t go through that book AT LEAST ONCE then you are not truly part of the Brotherhood.

As an interesting detail, the house in Markath where the Molag Bal quest is started has the mark that states that the house is empty and has nothing worth stealing, but I always found a lot of gold, maybe the mark that stands for empty house makes it less attractive than the mark that indicates that the house is not worth it because is too dangerous

He is the brother of delvin, if you read a letter in Mallory’s house. Its addressed to his daughter. You know its his daughter because of the initials on the letter. When you try to interact with her she doesn’t even acknoledge that she has a father.

Glover Mallory is also Sapphire’s father, after doing all his quests, in the same place where you can find his armor you can also find a letter, writen by him directed to Sapphire, in which he apologized for not being there an all that kind of stuff.

I have a mod where I just slaughtered everyone in the ragged flagon like they were any other bandit hideout. They died like pigs. And I slept like a baby that following evening in the game.
