The goal with those necromancers was to bring her back so that she could take over the septim throne.

People die when they are killed
To be fair to Styrr, she is actually coming back to life, so it’s a relevant detail. Good to have that in the dialogue in case any casual players did this quest early and weren’t up on their lore/didn’t play the other games.

Have you ever heard of the Tragedy of Darth Pelagius The Mad..’s aunt who was, like, a dog lady or something?
The point was she wanted a type of immortality, if i remember correctly. If she’d have achieved it, she would have been made empress eventually.
