The hardest of the three is Oblivion. Once you get to level 20, the scaling is completely out of wack and everything kicks your a**.

I say this all the time and people act like I’m taking the piss out of the Skybabies or whatever. I swear the only reason half of them think it’s hard to begin with is because they try to use weapons their character isn’t at all built to and then get mad when the character sucks at it. that’s just how RPGs work, Skyrim isn’t even that different it just starts everything at a higher baseline

Admitting you’re a cheater, and not even aware of it. What a shame.

Boots of blinding speed, ring of 100% resist magic for 1 sec and a ring of levitation, yeah just call me the flash of the sky… Morrowind will always be the best.

Yeah, if you cheat or use an exploit it is the easiest. So is any game you do that in. So, play it without doing that and it’s not easy. Wasted my time on this vid

I just remember jumping everywhere in Morrowind to level acrobatics and just leveling that way. Run up a hill? Nah 30 small jumps and a level up thanks 😂

Never noticed the crossbow stagger.

Facts, and that’s why morrowind is the best, at first it’s insanely difficult, but with some practice you can become a god! God like powers aren’t just handed to you or written in the tutorial, you need to figure that shit out

Let’s not forget that in Morrowind there was cheat codes to restore hp, mp and stamina & that you could buy skill levels all the up to max at character level 1 instead of 5 per level in later games

You can absolutely break Skyrim too, just with a bit of grinding. Craft a fortify enchanting potion, consume it, then enchant a fortify alchemy item, rinse and repeat until insanely high numbers are acquired, then enchant a weapon with a damaging enchantment. And then you should have a more reliable Mehrune’s Razor, or enchant armor and become invincible.

The thing about it is that other creatures also cheese you too! So unless you got some restore potions or cure potions you will be fucked and be loading a lot of saves that way too! So remember; max your willpower, max your Intel, and don’t focus on strength.

I really wish the crossbow was *automatically* reloaded. It would be so much better if you had to manually press the reload button yourself, so you can do it when the time is right.

When Oblivion didn’t have custom races, I put down the controller and didn’t come back for over a year. That was my favorite feature in Morrowind!

Morrowind custom spells broke my console. I literally cause a dragon break trying to make a nuke.😅

I always enchant my shoes with permanent levitation to make my mage invincible. Drop a summon and hover 10 feet up while launching your nuclear option spell that kills everything in 50 feet.

Thing is, Morrowind wants you to break the game, they give you scrolls of flying minutes into the game to let you see how busted you can get, in that sense it’s the better rpg of the three since you’re much more free to approach the game in the way you want.

Well, even in Oblivion I remember making pretty broken spells, I was disappointed to not see that mechanic in Skyrim. I guess there’s a mod for it tho, you have a mod for pretty much anything nowadays :’)

Levitate, conjure minions, chill out in the air, conjure more minions, shoot some arrows, put on pot of coffee and take a quick potty break, come back and loot the bodies lol

The way too break enchanting is simple. Just constant effect fortify your enchant skill to 110 and now you can use every enchantment at 1 cost.

I showed this in my video to show how powerful enchanting is in Morrowind.

What’s this? Magicka doesn’t regenerate over time but Item charges do? Don’t mind me with my Antronach birthsign and my Drain Intelligence 100 for 1 sec enchantment.

Might be a controversial opinion but vanilla Morrowind’s difficulty suffers a lot from the lack of level scaling. As you level up you very quickly leave the rest of the world behind, especially after around level 10 you will breeze through the game. Bethesda probably realized this when making the expansions which is why everything in Bloodmoon and Tribunal is so absurdly high level and difficult compared to the vanilla game.

Oblivion has the opposite problem in that its overzealous level scaling makes the game extremely difficult which only gets worse as you level up. But they finally got it right with Skyrim’s encounter zones which are a nice balance of the two systems. I dislike mods like Requiem that delevel Skyrim because they are introducing the Morrowind difficulty problem into Skyrim when it is not necessary.

Man I miss all of the morrowind systems. Sure we had no horses but there’s a mod for that ❤
