Yout “vanilla” sounds are not so vanilla

Dam I’m suppose to be cleaning up my load order for a fresh legit run and now you got me testing out new mods again, welp guess another year of testing wont hurt.

While I enjoy your videos, I have to make one criticism. Please do NOT say something is “vanilla”, when it’s painfully obvious to anyone who has played Skyrim that it is NOT “vanilla”. Especially in the case with Vyrthur’s voice you were comparing a modded Vyrthur with another modded Vyrthur, while claiming that the first one was “vanilla”. This seriously impacts your credibility, regardless of how accurate everything else might be. This video still gets a thumbs up from me, in spite of this small disappointment, though.

Four months in, and 2025 already has quite a few new and exciting “must-have” mods!
I played “Grey Cowl of Nocturnal” a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I definitely plan to replay the New updated version asap! The other two quest mods also intrigue me.

There is an often overlooked quest mod that i love and that has also recently been updated.
“Chanterelle – a Savage World – Expanded” is a HUGE new land mass filled with some of the most amazing locations and takes hours (. . . days!) to fully explore. The first version of the mod really didn’t offer much in the way of quests and new dungeons, but the latest version boasts 75 new quests and 100 new dungeons ready for exploration!
There are a few ways to enter this world, but the best and most recommended is the “shipwrecked off the coast” version, which leaves you stranded with no inventory and you have to survive by hunting and crafting your own clothing and tools. The forests and caves of this land team with wildlife and alchemy ingredients, and is actually the first time I made solid use of alchemy in my playthrough!
Highly recommended!!!

The new audio mods, “Dragon Voiced Word Walls” and “Whispers of the Daedric Princes” are amazing! It is just SO creepy and sinister-sounding when you now enter a place with a word wall!!!

Quests are the best way of keeping this game alive after 14 years, as most of the players know the vanilla quests so well they can probably sleep walk through them. So thank you for another great summary of mods Capt.Panda.
