NPCs sliding away from arrows is hilarious but annoying. And it can even happen when you’re sneaking and completely undetected. I’ve been playing Skyrim for years now and still don’t know why it happens.
Ahhh yes the famous SLIDE away from an arrow… game if your going to say my arrow “missed” just have it do less damage it’s less noticeable then the stupid NPC zipping to the left or right like a mouse cursor just dragged and dropped them their legs not even moving them to the side… this is one of the reasons why I stopped being a Sneak Archer and became a Conjoration Warrior a Summon in one hand and a weapon in the other

I watched a Livestream where they played through this game with a walkthrough and never met stump. So they were even more confused by that twist at the end than you were.
Speaking of Elden ring, I just now learned you can roll forward by pressing crouch and then run. But you need to be moving forward to do this.

NPCs running away from you after you do something intimidating is amazing. I wish there were more immersive interactions like this.

Roggi is not payed enough to deal with such BS
Classic BS Skyrim, moving NPCs away from arrows like your playing a multi player game with high ping.
I thought you were worried he was go all Ted Bundy on that bandit woman. Nope, turns out he’s drinking.
