I decided it would save me a lot of time to just download Gate to Sovngarde, it has most of the mods you listed here, among 1500 others lol. It’s pretty damn immersive also. It helps to subscribe to Nexus Premium. I figured it was worth $8 to get a mod list I didn’t have to mess with, however I did edit it to include NSFW stuff 🤷🏻‍♂️ judge me idgaf lol

Alternative Perspective is the “we are too cool for Alternate Start” mod. I remember installing AP thinking it was its own thing but the start options are pretty much the same as the ones in AS, except you get some items in the starting room. Regardless I think Skyrim Unbound is the better “starting” mod, as you get more customization and it skips to the dragon part.
Also personally for survival mod I use Sunhelm. It has hunger, thirst, exhaustion, and cold, also any food from any mod can be used with it.

Now make a quick playthrough only playing with these mods.

Ur eldergleam mod list is amazing. Completely changed the game for me it’s extremely immersive now. It’s my first playthrough it just feels right.

I have a 3080 10gb
With ddr4 3600 16gb ram
Ryzen 7 5800

I’m running it at 1440p
Using the performance option.
It does crash here and there. (9 hour playtime so far)

Is this normal or do I need to upgrade my ddr4 ram?

Maybe my vram ain’t good enough. I do regret getting a gpu with only 10gb of vram. 😢

5:18 I personally like Riverwood the way it is. Those guards are supposed to help evacuate the villagers not to fight a dragon. A wall is useful against some bandits not dragons and Jarl Ballin is broke, according to some banters he had. What I need is a mod that prevents those villagers from pulling out their iron dagger when the dragon shows up. 🤣

I HIGHLY recommend thieves guild requirements as it doesnt tell you it fixes the bug where you cant get the special guild jobs in each city. You will GURANTEE to get the job after 5 jobs in a city and you can PICK which city to do the job ao u can nail them back to back. It is a MUST HAVE. Love that mod.

Very solid list, I would had “Follower Goes on trip” , an unique mod that allow the player to populat your Skyrim with roaming adventurers who can even takes bounty quest.

We all know its ostim.

This isn’t going into NPC overhauls, skin and body textures, etc.

Alternate Perspective is incredibly buggy and is not comatible with many popular mods. i would avoid it like the plague. use Alternate Start Live Another Life or Realm of Lorkhan instead.

Here’s mine —
* Alternate Start. I’m with you on this one….. Vanilla start gets a bit tiring after awhile, and some of the alt starts present a new challenge every time.
* JK’s Skyrim. His redux of all the major towns and villages really bring those areas to life.
* Lefthand Rings; Bandoliers — both of these give slight improvements to your equipment build.
* Better Horses. I don’t like it when my horse jumps into combat, since they get in the way. They’ll run to a random direction, far enough away from the skirmish. Kinda wish there was a compass marker to pick up the runaway horse, but it’s no big deal.
* Enhanced Smelting. Much easier to scrap armor and weapons for ingots, since mining is tiring and annoying. Just be careful that you don’t scrap gear that you want to keep.
* Odin Magic Overhaul; Ordinator; Triumvirate. Much more skills, magic, and WAYYYY better talent trees. This allows more indepth character creation and roleplaying.
* Guard Armor Replacer. This sets guards apart from your average adventurers…. plus the sets are pretty damn cool.
* Rich Merchants. For the glitcher in you, it’ll be much easier to sell items and get gold quicker.
* Notice Board. Breaks the monotony of in game questing, this gives random side quests for the region.

And cant remember the name but theres a mod that makes the Dragonstone a radiant quest so it doesnt appear in Bleakfalls, you’ll happen upon it in a random cave or dungeon. A godsend for people whove played the game umpteen times!

Whats the armor hes using?

The category of “immersive mods” is a very large and continually growing section in my mod lists!
I love mods that make me feel like the world and peoples of Skyrim have an existence that is independent of me.
“Alternate Perspective” has been my choice of alternate start mods from as soon as it came out for one simple reason:
I no longer have to find ways to avoid going near or to Helgen to avoid having the main quest start!
Now, I get to choose exactly when it starts, or if it starts at all, and am still free to visit Helgen whenever I want to!
