What a coincidence I was looking for a WR stair retexture, for some reason my whiterun stairs just look like a massive smudge with the skurkbro retexture project, it might be incompatibility with JK Skyrim that is the culprit or something.
Now I can try whether or not a standalone stair retexture will fix my issue.
